Trainings and membership

Trainings and membership
Probably it will sound like a banality but everyone can curl! Students, workers and
pensioners. Curling is a sport with no restrictions as 54 years old Scott Baird representing
United States of America at the Olympic games in Turin proved. We would like you to
become convinced about that yourself!
Regular trainings of Cracow’s Curling Club take place on Saturday evenings on ice rink MKS
Cracovia on Siedlecki Street. We guarantee coaching and technical support! Every two or
three weeks we go to Gliwice or Pawłowice to train and play on well prepared curling track.
We welcome all interested in starting regular training to join our club. To become a member
of the Cracow’s Curling Club you have to do really little: sign the declaration, pay the signing
fee (30zl) and the first membership fee (40zl per quarter). As part of this small quarterly fee
we offer:
- participation in training in Cracow
- usage of club equipment such as rocks, brushes, slides, stoppers and other
- organization of training trips to Gliwice or Pawłowice (free or paid)
- theoretical trainings
- sport and technical support
- exchange of experience, knowledge and skills
- as you progress opportunity to represent and participate in tournaments and
competitions, including the Polish Championships
- trips to training camps
- active participation in thematic commissions of our Club
- participation in development and integration meetings
- opportunity to gain experience in sporting and organizational running of the Club
- fun and lively atmosphere
- satisfaction in any progress and successes!
We would like to invite you to curl with us!
FREE! On our open days organize on average once a month, without any commitment, you
can participate in training and find out more about curling.
The dates of the open days are posted in the News!
